Know Before You Apply:

If you are a theater company, non-profit, or other organization you will need to have your EIN # handy

You will need to have someone as the primary contact for the event
You will need to know a general timeframe for usage of the plays
If an educational group, we can only offer advertisement to university level or higher, (high school theater groups may still produce these without provided advertisement)

Producing your own SAY GAY PLAYS can be a great way to organize your community and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights.

We make theater activism accessible by offering these plays for free to eliminate barriers to entry.

What Happens After I Apply?

Once the form is filled out and submitted please allow for 5-7 business days to process the request. Afterwards, if approved, you will be sent an introduction email with a tool kit and instructions on reporting back to us once the event is over. The tool kit will have everything you need for your event (i.e. the plays, required agreement form, branding materials, guidelines for talkbacks, etc.)

These plays can be used for many different purposes, a few examples are:

Fundraising Events for local LGBTQ charities in your area
Voter Registration events
Readings by local theaters/school groups to use as advocacy
And so much more…
